Our 2026 theme is Reimagining Library Culture Together.<\/strong> It is grounded in the belief that joy and sustainability require safety, dignity, community, and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We\u2019re especially interested in proposals that reflect collective care, capacity awareness, and real-world constraints, without placing the burden on individuals. You do not need polished answers or perfect success stories. We welcome proposals that are exploratory, honest about limits and uncertainty, and grounded in care and lived experience.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n ThriveLib: Reclaiming Joy, Balance, and Boundaries in Libraries<\/strong> is a virtual conference dedicated to the well-being of library workers. Designed for librarians, library staff, and information professionals across all types of libraries, this multi-day event focuses on the emotional and psychological well-being of those who keep libraries running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Library workers face growing challenges, burnout, compassion fatigue, blurred boundaries, and shrinking support while continuing to serve their communities with dedication and care. ThriveLib creates space to acknowledge these realities and to imagine something better. Together, we\u2019ll explore strategies for fostering psychological safety, setting sustainable boundaries, building healthier workplace cultures, and reclaiming the joy that brought so many of us to this profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ThriveLib is more than a conference. It\u2019s a call to action and a collective commitment to change. Join us to learn, reflect, connect, and take meaningful steps toward thriving in your library work.
